Centre to replicate state's loan waiver scheme: HDK

After the election results of five states, the union finance department had availed the information on state loan waiver scheme on Thursday, said Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy.

CM was speaking to media persons after the launch of a road safety awareness campaign at Police Parade Ground on a query whether the centre was copying the state's model of loan waiver.

Kumaraswamy said the government will give a befitting reply to BJP leaders on the floor of the house. Pity central leadership through their state leaders had availed the information on states loan waiver model.

''How the centre would act over it we will wait and watch'', he said. In the backdrop of over 50 persons had died on Belagavi-Yaragatti road in last several months, five departments including Police, Health, Education and Public Works had worked out a road safety measures which had resulted in a decline in the number of accidents and deaths on the road. The same model will be emulated, adopted and implemented across the state, he informed the media.
