The DC who discussed with the Land Army Corporation authorities, the agency executing the work, said that the foundation for the structure was not proper and directed to strengthen it. He also instructed the Municipal Commissioner to asphalt the old bus stand.
The Deputy Commissioner later visited the vegetable market and  informed that vegetable vending on road sides will be checked after the construction of the shopping stalls. He directed to maintain quality in all works.

City Municipal Council president M Prakash, who was present,  informed that the City Municipality will be receiving Rs 15 crore from the government and the roads would be asphalted or concreted utilsing the said funds.

The Deputy Commissioner later visited the Thippenahalli water supply unit.
Municipal Commissoner Umakanth, Assistant Commissioner G V Seenappa and others were present.
