A 45-year-old man from Bhairanayakanahatti in Challakere taluk has died of suspected H1N1 infection.
Dhananjay was admitted to Bapuji Hospital in Davangere following high fever and breathing problem on November 10.
However, he failed to respond to treatment and died on Friday, according to Health department sources. The government has been conducting extensive health awareness drives to create awareness against the disease, spreading rapidly in the state.
