According to the sources, Alok Mohan, the Director General and Inspector General of Police (DG&IGP) and the Head of Police Force (HoPF), forwarded Rajanna’s petition to the DGP of the CID, MA Saleem, on Wednesday. The CID has been asked to inquire into the allegation.

On Tuesday, Rajanna had filed a petition with Home Minister G Parameshwara.

The same day in Tumakuru, Rajanna said that a man and two women had met him twice.

“The woman who came to me the second time was wearing jeans pants and a blue top. She identified herself as a high court lawyer. She came on the pretext of discussing something personal and important,” he claimed.
