The Commissioner of the Department, Tushar Giri Nath, instructed the teachers of affiliated colleges to compulsorily attend BU's evaluation work so that results are declared before the next semester starts.
The biometric fingerprint readers, put in place for marking attendance of evaluators, got thumbs up from Giri Nath. Asking teachers to comply with BU rules, the Commissioner said that the Department was thinking to introduce the system at the degree colleges. He warned of 'appropriate disciplinary action' if the instructions were not followed.
