Speaking to the media persons here on Thursday, Department Head Dr V I George informed that the participants from various renowned institutions like IIT, NIT, ISRO, NAL, NPOL and CSIR are presenting papers in the conference. About 60 manuscripts covering areas like Instrumentation and Control, Aerospace Engineering, Bio Medical Instrumentation, MEMS/Embedded systems, Robotics and Automation, Power Electronics and Drives and Soft Computing will be presented in the conference, he added.
Around 60 papers will be presented in the conference. The two days conference will be inaugurated by Manipal University Vice Chancellor Dr Rajashekaran P Warrier. MIT Director Brig (Dr) Somnath Mishra will preside. Dr M Umapathy, Professor and Head of the Department of ICE, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli will be the Chief Guest and will deliver the keynote address on the occasion, he said. Convener S Meenatchisundaram, Co-conveners I Thirunavvukkarasu, Cyril Joseph and others were present.
