CM apologises to Jalappa, Deshpande

Yeddyurappa told reporters here on Thursday that he made the allegations based on the information furnished by the officials which was later found to be wrong.

Jalappa’s son-in-law and Deshpande’s son had sought permit for mining but they have not commenced the business, he said.

However, the Opposition leader in the Council Motamma said the Chief Minister had made allegations in the Council and therefore, he should apologise in the House.

M C Nanaiah (JD(S) ) said Yeddyurappa was blaming the officials for the blunder he committed.
