He was speaking after presenting Cauvery award instituted by Baby Mutt to Pejawar Mutt Seer Sri Vishweshatheertha Swamiji and valedictory of navarathri puja celebrations at Baby Mutt in Pandavpura taluk on Monday.

The CM claimed that the opposition parties never allowed him to discharge his duty since the day of forming the government.

They have indulged in making baseless allegations against him and the government without constructive criticism. They were only interesting in bringing down his government. “No person or party cannot bring down his government as he has the blessings of gods, six crore people and heads of various mutts”.

Yeddyurappa promised to focus on developmental works in next two- and-half-years.
Lauding the services of Pejawara Mutt seer in the field of religion, spirituality and various spheres, he said that the Pejawar mutt seer was one of the guiding forces in the construction of Sri Ram temple at Ayodhya. The CM also complimented Baby Mutt seer Sri Trinethra Mahantha Swamiji for holding religious programmes to enlighten the masses.
