Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, he slammed the ‘truth test’ between Yeddyurappa and H D Kumaraswamy, saying: “There is nothing more ridiculous than this. The oath taking in a temple is not only a disrespect to the Constitution, but is also against the principles of secularism.”

He criticised Yeddyurappa for his “open letter” to Kumaraswamy in newspapers. “The government is misusing taxpayers’ money for releasing advertisements in newspapers to settle their personal scores.”

On the murder of Hunsur teenagers, Siddaramaiah accused S Yeddyurappa and Home Minister R Ashoka of not being serious about the progress of the investigation and nailing the accused.
