Former chief minister Jagadish Shettar said on Wednesday that Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, Public Works Minister H D Revanna, and even former chief minister Siddaramaiah were allergic towards the North Karnataka region, its people and its development.

Shettar asked Kumaraswamy to visit some temples and mutts in North Karnataka region also as his ‘temple run’ is concentrated in South Karnataka itself.

“Kumaraswamy promised to shift some offices to Belagavi, but that assurance is not yet fulfilled. On the other hand, Revenna snatched KSHIP offices from Belagavi, due to his love towards Hassan and Holenarsipur,” Shettar said.

“Kumaraswamy’s temple run is too much as chief minister and he should concentrate on administration and public welfare,” the former chief minister said.

It is not correct to increase the bus fare on the pretext of hike in diesel price. The state government should hold talks with the Union government to find a solution, he said.

Infighting in the Belagavi Congress would spread to the entire party. The government would collapse automatically and the BJP would come to power, Shettar said.
