“The university is not being shifted, rather its civil work will start from August 15,” Yeddyurappa told reporters. The Chief Minister accused the JD (S) leader of playing petty politics on the issue.
Yeddyurappa was speaking to reporters after a ride on Delhi Metro along with his Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Chief E Sreedharan.
Hailing the Delhi Metro, he said the Bangalore Metro’s experimental run will begin in October and would be inaugurated in December, 2010. The first phase will run between KSCA stadium and Byappanahalli.
Yeddyurappa refused to entertain any queries on the Reddy brothers saying the entire issue of illegal mining was subjudice. “My mantra now is development,” he added.
