AICC national spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi on Thursday ridiculed BJP chief Amit Shah's rally in Chitradurga.

"When he asked the crowd if the (Congress) government should be thrown out, he got 'no' as a response. When he asked if Yeddyurappa should become the chief minister, he got a big 'no' back," she told reporters here.

"People are able to see through the BJP's agenda." Priyanka, who is also the AICC communications convenor, said she had interviewed more than 500 applicants as part of the drive to rope in "liberal and secular" voices as the party's spokespersons in Karnataka.

"I will hold Skype interviews with those who I couldn't meet personally," she said. "Shortlisted candidates will go through a final round of assessment by AICC communications chief Randeep S Surjewala, who will visit Bengaluru for the purpose shortly."
