Congress party workers allegedly assaulted Chandra Mishra, the national coordinator of the 'No job-No vote' campaign in Mysuru on Thursday.  The assault occurred near Freedom Fighters' park.

Police suspect that supporters of Prashanth Gowda, Mysuru Mahanagara Palike member, are involved in the incident.

Police said that around 10 am, Mishra and other members of the campaign were out publicising their cause, when Congress workers appeared at the spot and attacked him.
