The delegation of party’s senior leaders will meet the President in Delhi on August 16.
KPCC president R V Deshpande said on Wednesday the party had intended to meet the President on the issue, but the plan did not materialise as the party leaders were engaged in the Padayatra.
There was no need of the Bill as the previous bill that was in effect since 1964 was sufficient, he added.
