Belagavi: Senior Congress MLC M Nagaraju apologised to Council chairperson Basavraj Horatti on Monday.
When the Question Hour was dragging on, Horatti proposed to cut it down after 75 minutes. While most members agreed, the MLC raised his voice at the chair, saying members had the right to discuss even for two hours. This triggered Opposition members and Yadav was forced to apologise after senior Congress MLC B K Hariprasad intervened and convinced his colleague to apologise, sensing the seriousness of the situation. From Tuesday, Horatti announced that Question Hour would be fixed for 75 minutes and if there was anything else, members could submit written requests.
