The Collegiate Education Department has organised counselling for transfer of first grade college lecturers on May 17 and 18 at the Government Science College auditorium in Bengaluru.
Lecturers, physical instructors and librarians under general transfers have been asked to attend the counselling. The counselling for those suffering from serious diseases, physically challenged, widows and husband-wives took place on Monday.
About 2,160 newly recruited lecturers are likely to be posted to colleges under C Zone. Those serving at colleges under C Zone may opt for colleges under B and A zones. However, they should submit fresh applications seeking the transfer.
