Counselling for admissions to undergraduate ISMH (Indian Systems of Medicine and Homeopathy) courses is likely to be delayed again as the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is yet to receive the seat matrix for the same.

The Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) and Central Council for Homeopathy (CCH) are yet to confirm the seat matrix to KEA.

As on 9 pm on Saturday night, the KEA officials, who were uploading the seat matrix for admissions to undergraduate professional courses, told Deccan Herald that the KEA had received the seat matrices for all other courses and the option entry for all these courses would be carried on June 15, 2014, as per schedule.

The seat matrix would be uploaded by Sunday afternoon and there would be no delay in the option entry for other courses, the officials said.

Last year too, the counselling for Ayurveda, Unani and Homeopathy courses were delayed by over three months, by which time classes had already begun for other professional courses.
