State executive committee meeting of the KPCC is scheduled to be held on Saturday to discuss among others upcoming elections to the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) and floods and drought situation in the State.

The issue of delay in appointing heads to various boards and corporations of the State government may also come up for discussion in the meeting, which will be attended by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, KPCC chief G Parameshwara, State party office bearers and senior leaders.

Various issues relating to the crucial BBMP polls due next year will be discussed in the meeting. The party has set up a committee to look into the possibility of bifurcating the BBMP and take up delimitation of wards. Besides, the leaders are scheduled to draw up activities for the next six months to strengthen the party.
