In the meeting, it was said that there is a need to work further on the direction of literacy and awareness on hygiene and cleanliness.  MLA U T Khader said that Sikkim stands first in literacy and cleanliness and Karnataka stands second. He said that organisations working in these two directions need to be supported so that our State comes to first place.  Jana Shikshana Trust Director Sheena Shetty, Taluk Panchayat President Ramachandra Kumpala, TP Executive Officer Kantharaju were present.
