The event was inaugurated by D B Dutta, vice-president of Deccan Herald.
The job fair pavilion was a major crowd-puller. Several freshers made a beeline to the eight companies, which had put up their stalls.
"I saw the advertisement on the exhibition in the paper. I have applied to HCL, Stag Software and Unisys," said Nithya N R, an engineering graduate. In the ‘Games n Gadgets’ section, Nintendo has put up LCD screens, where visitors could play with wi-fi facility and win prizes.
The exhibition centre has also been made a wi-fi zone to help the visitors.
ProFX, a company dealing with home theatres and other audio equipment, launched the AVR 2010 series in the exhibition. While, Hi-Tech Solutions, showcased some of the latest gadgets like Docu Scan pen and a stick-shaped gadget that can scan about 200 pages at one go.
