“All politicians nurse an ambitaion to be a minister. But right now I have not thought about it,” he informed the reporters. He welcomed the Union Minister of State for Environment Jairam Ramesh’s decision to do away with convocation gown at a convocation ceremony in Bhopal recently.
“I fully agree with Ramesh. It is a symbol of slavery. Also, the practice of wearing headgear should be done away with. Instead, Mysore peta can be used in south Karnataka and Gandhi cap in north Karnataka,” he stated.
