The elections to the nine posts of directors of Bairnahalli Milk Producers’ Associations had attracted a lot of attention.
Bhagyamma has been unanimously elected to the seat reserved for women. Unexpectedly, the election to the post of director (reserved for ST) was not held. Those elected to the other seven posts are:
B V Papanna (248 votes), Anjinappa (196), B S Krishnappa (200), Nanjundappa (196), Papanna and Lakshman (204) and Veerabhadraiah (188).
