Speaking to the mediapersons, Lions District 324 D4 district Chairman Dr Rajesh Bhakta informed that as many as 200 high school students are taking part in the contest. Two students each from school are selected for the quiz. The quiz will be inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Hemalatha. Lions Governor Dr T Basavaraj will preside.
Manipal University Registrar Dr G K Prabhu, DHO Dr Ramachandra Bairy, KMC Dean Dr P Sripathy Rao will be the chief guests on the occasion, he said. Home Minister Dr V S Acharya will be the chief guest at the valedictory ceremony.
