The Department of Stamps and Registration has, on Thursday, given strict instructions to sub-registrars and district registrars to provide the facilities of franking and stamp paper value certification to people without creating any hurdles.
The department said in a release that in addition to document sheets, people can get franking sheets for any value up to Rs 999 at sub-registrar offices and get certification of the value of stamp paper from sub-registrar or district registrar across the State.
The Government has allowed sale of document sheets of Rs 20, Rs 50 and Rs 100 value through banks only as a temporary arrangement.
