Kamala Venkappa Gowda, mother of Union Railway Minister D V Sadananda Gowda, passed away at her house in Mandekolu in the early hours of Saturday. She was 92.
The minister, who was in Bangalore, rushed to his native on Saturday morning.
Gowda’s younger sister Savithri Shivaram Gowda had died on Tuesday when she lost her battle to cancer.
Kamala Gowda is survived by four sons and a daughter.
