Female children should be educated, said Panakkad Wakf Board Chairman Rasheed Ali Shihab Tangal.
He was speaking at the foundation stone laying programme of a degree college and inauguration of anniversary of women’s ashrama by Shamsul Ulam Education Academy Trust at Perumbade near Virajpet.
Former MP H Vishwanath who laid the foundation stone, said that knowledge is strength. Without education, one can not survive. Female children should be educated for the development of the society, he added.
