Employment exchanges will be HRD centres: CM

Speaking to mediapersons after visiting the State’s first HRD Centre here on Saturday, the chief minister said the government would provide all necessary infrastructure to the employment exchange centres for their upgradation as full-fledged HRD Centres.

Replying to a query at the airport earlier, Yeddyurappa said there had been no discussion over Cabinet expansion.

“There will be expansion certainly. But no discussions have been done in this this regard,” he said dismissing the names of possible candidates doing rounds as “rumours.”

Yeddyurappa said the government would be organising Sadhana Samavesha on June 19 and there will be a training to the newly-elected Gram Panchayat presidents on the next day.

‘No interference’

Yeddyurappa said the government will not intervene in the issue of Sri Rama Sene chief Pramod Muthalik’s alleged involvement in ‘rent-a-riot’ charge Mayor Rajani Dugganna, Minister for Tourism G Janardhana Reddy, District-in-Charge Minister J Krishna Palemar were present.
