“The party leaders have committed a blunder and they owe an apology to people who voted us to power,” Eshwarappa told presspersons here on Sunday. The minister, who has so far maintained silence on the political crisis apologised to the people who voted for the BJP. He said that the voters were upset with the frequent bickering in the ruling party.

Eshwarappa had once come out in the public that party workers were displeased over fielding B Y Raghavendra, the CM’s son, in Lok Sabha election. When quizzed on the demand for a probe on the manner in which BJP won Lok Sabha elections in the State, he said “the issue is closed now. I don’t want to comment further.”
