The police arrested two persons and seized explosives stored illegally in a stone crusher unit at G Vaddarahatti in Kadur taluk.
According to police, the arrested have been identified as C H Venkatanarayana Reddy and Krishnappa.
The police have seized 19 bags of amonium nitrate and 3,750 electrical detonators.
The main accused Shanmukha Bovi has fled the spot. The raid was carried out under the direction of Tarikere DySP Sadananda Nayak.
