MLC K C Kondaiah has filed a petition to the Govenor against the ministers seeking their disqualification on the ground that there was a conflict of interest with the ministers having mining business. The Governor has forwarded the complaint to Election Commission of India, which issued notice to the ministers asking them to reply by July 15.
The two ministers had approached the High Court seeking extension of the deadline.
