Legislator Amaresh urged the farmers to purchase the seeds at a discounted rate from the Raitha Samparka Kendra.
He was speaking while distributing groundnut seeds to the farmers at the Kendra in Duggasandra village of the taluk.
The legislator said that the farmers should make use of the schemes and progress financially.
Congress leader Uttanuru Srinivas, former president of Taluk Panchayat president M Venkataramanappa and others were present.
