Five youth are feared to have drowned in River Phalguni at Aralu Moolarapattana in Bantwal taluk on Monday evening. They had ventured into the river for a swim.
The missing youth have been identified as Aslam, Rameez, Ajmal, all aged 17 and Mudasir, Sawad, aged 18. A body was retrieved from the river on Tuesday morning.
