Forums to stage stir in Kalasa on March 26

SI Hiremath who was in Kalasa police station had been transferred to the Anti-Naxal Force. The organisations had urged the senior officials to cancel his transfer about 15 days back, but there has been no response. Karnataka Rakshana Vedike Brahmadeva, office-bearers Shenika, Ravi Rai, Malnad Hitarakshana Vedike’s K L Vasu, Ramamurthy and CPI taluk assistant secretary Gopal Shetty told press persons that a protest dharna will be held in front of the Kalasa police station at 11 am on March 26.

The Honnekadu drinking water project has stopped halfway since some persons blocked it. The government should immediately relaunch the project solving problems it has, they said.
