Four die in separate incidents

Four persons including a woman have died in separate incidents in the City.
Nagaraj (35), a construction worker and resident of Kurubarahalli in the City, was fatally knocked down by a tractor from the rear, when he was riding his bicycle near Vidyanagar in the City on Wednesday. Soon after the mishap, the tractor driver abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene,

Lashkar traffic police have registered the case.

In a separate incident, Anand (50), a watchman on night shift at St Philomena’s High School in the City, was found dead on Wednesday. According to the police, the victim had consumed poison. A case has been registered.

In another incident, Dileep (26), who had been hospitalised following burn injuries sustained in an accidental fire at his house on May 3, succumbed on Tuesday.

He was a resident of Alanahalli. Nazarbad police have registered the case.

In yet another incident, Hasrathunnisa (20), of Nachanahalli Palya, who was admitted at K R Hospital for alleged attempt of suicide by consuming poison on May 5, died late in the day.

She took the extreme step due to acute stomach ache, police informed.

Vidyaranyapuram police have registered the case.
