The deceased are Kalaiah (45), Devaraja (30), Mahadev (22) and Sannaiah (25). The incident occurred around 5 pm, when Kalaiah went to bathe the cattle in the tank. While bathing the cattle, he started drowning and cried for up. Three others, who were working in the field, went inside the tank for his rescue. The Fire Services Department personnel have fished out three out of the four bodies.
