On New Year’s Day, Saddam, Nabisab, Hussain Pasha and Basha are alleged to have kidnapped the girl of Donamaradi in Manvi Taluk, who had been employeed to pick chillies in a farm at Maladakal in Devadurga taluk.
She had gone to relieve herself in a field when the four men abducted her and took her to Pune, police said. The four men repeatedly raped her at a lodge in Pune, and then sold her to a Pune man for Rs. 1.12 lakh, polie said.
Finding the girl crying, the man who bought the girl, sent her back with the suspects. who brought her home. When the father of the girl tried to talk to the suspects about the incidents, they threatened to kill him if he revealed anything to police, it is learnt.
