The hefty price tag for Queen Elizabeth II comes as consumer prices in Britain are rising at their fastest pace in four decades.

Four persons, including two children, have been killed as a car they were travelling in rammed against a roadside toilet near Udayapura, in Channarayapatna taluk, on National Highway 75, on Thursday morning.

Three of the victims have been burnt alive inside the car, while one child died when it was being shifted to a hospital.

The car, belonging to one Vivek Naik of Bengaluru, was bound for Hassan from Bengaluru. Police are yet to confirm the names and age of the victims.

The car has been charred in the mishap.
