This was disclosed by SWR Divisional Railway Manager Vijaya Raghavan at a meeting with MPs H Vishwanath and R Dhruvanarayan held in Mysore on Tuesday. Adding to this, the issue related to the shifting of Tipu’s armoury near Srirangapatna, to pave way for doubling works, is also to be addressed.
Vishwanath said that he would instruct Regional Commissioner M V Jayanthi to convene a meeting of the officials attached to both Railway and Archaeology on June 17 (Wednesday).
