According to police, the arrested are Binish (34) and Soorya (18). Both were the residents of Idukki in Kerala. The duo had purchased ganja from one Kunhali of Malappura in Kerala.

3 injured in clash
Three students were injured in a clash between students group on Tuesday. The injured are Shashikanth Laxman Suvadi (19), son of Minister for Cooperation Laxman Savadi, Tilak and Ranjith Shetty, all were the BBM students of SDM College in Mangalore. Police have arrested four students in this regard. They are Ashith Nonda, Nishanth Nonda, Sai, Rahul.
Speaking to Deccan Herald, SDM College Principal Dr Devaraj said “the quarrel between students were for a trivial issue. The two students who indulged in the quarrel did not attend the class. We will be initiating action only after thorough investigation. However, Shashikanth Laxman Suvadi has attended the class on Wednesday.”

Killed
A person was killed when he came under the wheels of a lorry while unloading sand at Kuloor in Mangalore on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Sharanappa of Bagalkote. A case has been registered.
