Meenakshi Hanumanthappa Bhajanthri was a first PU student. On Saturday, Meenakshi’s parents fixed her marriage with a boy of Kanadal village in Raibag taluk of Belgaum district. When they returned to Tadahal, their daughter was found dead at the house. She had no clothes on.
In a complaint to the police, Meenakshi’s father Hanumanthappa Bhajanthri has expressed his suspicion about Kumar Bhajanthri, brother-in-law of Meenakshi, having raped and killed the girl.
