Addressing a news conference after inspecting various textile manufacturing units and special economic zones here, he said the State government was encouraging Private Public Participation in the establishment of new industries in districts by utilising locally available raw materials, resources and manpower.
On receipt of complaints from local industrialists about lack of facilities, Baligar directed the district administration to provide all basic facilities for industrial estates without much delay.
He said industrialists are free to contact him if any officer harasses them or show laxity in implementing the government sponsored schemes exclusively for the promotion of industries.
