The CM made the statement in the wake of Union Health Minister Gulam Nabi Azad expressing concern over lackadaisical attitude of State Governments in dealing with the deadly virus.
Speaking to reporters, he said it is unfortunate that nearly 11 people have lost their lives due to the flu. “The virus has affected almost all parts of the country. The State Government has acted in time and prevented further spread of the virus,” he stated. He further said he will speak to the Union Health Minister and appraise him about steps taken by the State in this regard.
