Bengaluru: Accusing the Congress government of being “drowned” in the guarantees, senior Congress MLC B K Hariprasad lamented on Friday that other important issues were being sidelined.
"The government should withdraw the amendments to the Land Reforms Act (the amendment had made it possible for non-agriculturists to purchase agricultural lands). The anti-conversion bill should be withdrawn. We need measures on the NEP and RSS elements in extremely important positions should be removed, and the caste census should be implemented," he told reporters.
He said only the CM or other ministers could comment on the caste census.
