Replying to the question by JD(S) MLC T A Sharavana, the minister said, “The lake buffer zone issue is there even at my constituency. Even a court and a police station have been constructed.”

Meanwhile, Shivakumar even informed that one expert committee report on the same is pending before Forest department.

Sharavana demanded the government for a re-survey of village map and update the same in revenue records. “The 107-year-old survey of village map is causing inconvenience to construction activities. When the lakes have lost their natural shape, the government must conduct re-survey and allow constructions,” he requested.
