The State Cabinet on Thursday approved Governor H R Bhardwaj’s speech to the members of both Houses of the State legislature, scheduled for February 4.
The Cabinet has also authorised Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar to select a candidate to be nominated to the Legislative Council. A Council seat is currently vacant following the resignation of Vijay Sankeshwar, said Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister S Suresh
Kumar.
