Heavy rain lashed Gundlupet and Chamarajanagar taluks on Tuesday night.
The whole of Gundlupet taluk received good rain. While Santhemarahalli and surrounding areas in Chamarajanagar taluk received heavy rains, there was scattered rainfall at other places in the taluk.
Nitre and Agathagowdanahalli received 6 cm rain, Gundlupet 5 cm, Umathur, Raghavapura, Bannithalapura, Begur, Horeyala received 3 cm. Kuderu, Bheemanabeedu, Berambadi, Lakkipura and others 2 cm.
Meanwhile, heavy rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, lashed Hampapura and other villages in H D Kote taluk on Wednesday evening.
