The same term that has been used to describe the marriage between two teenagers from different religions that took place recently.

City cops, on Wednesday traced the couple -- who had been missing from the city from November 19 -- only to discover that the two - a Muslim boy and a Hindu girl - were married.
The 19-year-old Mohsin (all names changed) of Lashkar Mohalla is a student of first year BBM in a private college here. He was in love with Mekhala a resident of Datta Nagar on Mysore-Nanjangud road from the past two years. Love had blossomed while they were studying at JSS College for Arts, Commerce and Science on Mysore-Nanjangud road.

On November 19 Mohsin left home and did not return. Petrified, his father lodged a complaint with Lashkar police following day. On the same day, Mekhala also had gone missing and a complaint in this regard was lodged at K R Police station. The cops investigating into the case got a clue from a friend of Mohsin who spilt the beans. On Wednesday, K R Police traced them in Hassan. The two had already solemnised their relationship and the girl had embraced Islam.

Another case?

A week ago, a minor  Hindu girl (17)  in Udayagiri police station limits was kidnapped by a married Muslim man. The girl’s father in his complaint to the police has alleged that his daughter has been kidnapped by a Ayaz of Nehru Nagar on the pretext of marrying her. Ayaz already has three wives, according to the police.
