Malur (Kolar district): Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy on Friday sought to turn the tables on the BJP, which has been alleging that those evicted in the demolition drive carried out at Kogilu Layout in North Bengaluru were illegal migrants from Bangladesh.

Interacting with journalists in Tornahalli in Malur, Reddy said, “The BJP is claiming that those who were evicted in Kogilu are illegal Bangladeshi migrants. If that is the case, then how did they get this far? What are Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah doing? If they have indeed come into this country illegally, let the Centre have them
arrested.”
