With the assistance of the Karnataka Vocational Training and Skills Development Corporation (KVTSDC), the district Employment Exchange will be be upgraded as Human Resources Development Centre.
The HRD Centre will be launched on July 2.
All the Government employment exchanges in the State will be converted into HRD Centres. District employment exchanges are also being upgraded in Mandya, Chamarajanagar, Bellary, Gulbarga and Hubli.

Skill training will be imparted to those above 14 years, while employment training will be imparted to those above 18 years with the partnership in the private sector.
The HRD Centre in Kolar will be inaugurated at 11 am on Saturday, July 2, by Minister for Labour B N Bache Gowda. Union Minister of State for Railways K H Muniyappa is the chief guest.
The programme will be presided over by Anand Sudarshan, CEO and MD of Manipal Education group.
