Though the fire brigade was informed about the fire mishap, by the time they arrived both the houses were reduced to ashes.
Paddy, groundnut, clothes and other household items stored in the huts were completely burnt. Nanguli Sub-Inspector Sanjeevarayappa and officials from Revenue Department inspected the spot. A case has been registered by Nanguli Police station.
